We have successfully received 2 100% Wood Blue Ribbons!!!!! YEAH!!!! Let's keep it going! Please dress your child in Wood School blue each and every Friday!
I hope that everyone had a fantastic and relaxing break with family and friends. I know that I had a wonderful holiday with my family and friends!
Over the next several weeks we will be exploring Penguins. Though there are many different kinds of penguins we will be exploring about 7 on them, and making a project using technology. We will also be completing a nonfiction and fiction write. Many of the students were looking for Penguin books at the library.
I was hoping that we were going to have some mild winter weather, but we were back to normal cold temperatures. PLEASE remember to dress your child for these cold temperatures with a hat, gloves/mittens, a scarf, etc. We still are going outside for recess.
Please continue going through your child’s homework folders each night. It keeps you informed on what we are covering in class. It also gives you the chance to see if your child is having any difficulties.
DATES TO REMEMBER
January 14th - 1/2 day
January 15th and 18th No School
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email or call.
